Summer Rowing Clinic for High Schoolers: Session 1

1 Week Summer Rowing Clinic

Come join us for a week-long rowing clinic running from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. This clinic focuses on improving your rowing skills, increasing fitness levels, and enhancing comfort on the water, all in a fun environment. We encourage both experienced rowers and beginners to take part. No experience required.

• Program Fees: $385 per 1-week session and FREE to New Haven public school students
• Open to: all high school-aged youth, 9th- 12th grade
• What’s included: 2-3 rowing/fitness sessions per day plus snacks and water

Here's a sample of the daily activity schedule, prioritizing rowing on the water if the weather allows:

• First 15 Minutes: drop-off/group meeting/snack
• 60 minutes: rowing and fitness
• 20 minutes: break/water/snack
• 90 minutes: rowing and fitness
• 40 minutes: warm down and wash and store equipment
• Final 15 minutes: break/water/snack/pick-up

Requirements: participants must provide a swim test certification.

• Swim tests can be obtained for free through LEAP
